Jay-de Robinson, also known as Mr. Classic, is a Jamaica native who was raised in New York City and now calls Atlanta, Georgia home. With a passion for fashion, Mr. Classic has made a name for himself by styling and consulting for some of the industry's top A-list celebrities. His impressive client list includes names like Tyrese Gibson, Waka Flaka, Mya, and Jack Harlow, as well as athletes such as Frank D. Murphy, Johnathan Butler, and NBA legend Julius Erving. Mr. Classic has also lent his expertise to individuals in the political arena, working with governors and the CEO of the Human and Civil Rights of Atlanta.
For the past 5 years, Mr. Classic has collaborated with various design houses in Atlanta, specializing in made-to-measure and bespoke garments in classic menswear. As the CEO and designer of Mr. Classic's Haberdashery, he is dedicated to helping individuals develop their personal style through education on classic styling and bespoke garment creation. His focus is on providing exclusivity, elegance, and high-class sophistication to his clients.
In addition to his work in fashion, Mr. Classic is the founder and chairman of The Princemen Organization, a program designed to empower young boys in the business world by helping them develop their image and voice. His mission is to inspire the youth to dress and act as the individuals they aspire to become, with the ultimate goal of building an empire and leaving a legacy.
Mr. Classic lives by the mantra, "Before they hear you, they must first see you, make sure what they are looking at is going to be worth listening to." This ethos guides his work and fuels his passion for helping others showcase their best selves through style and self-expression.
